My Little Rose: 44 Weeks Old (10 months old)

Ahhh my adorable darling HOW did we get to 10 months already. I cant even believe how time is flying. Seriously it is going by way way way too fast. You are becoming such an awesome little person now my Little Rose. Your personality is coming out and you are smart and funny and sassy. I seriously cannot get enough of all the adorableness; especially these dresses, and those dimples… I swoon!

I am super tired. I am worn out. I am just DONE. Sometimes being a mom is so hard. So this week I accepted Grandma’s offer to fly into LA and help for two weeks. I am still getting up with you during your 2 am wake ups but at least now I am getting to sleep in. Grandma is taking over all the diaper changes, the early morning routine and I am finally getting a little much needed break. You adore grandma and she is just smothering you with SO MUCH love.

Well I was right, these sleepless nights are because you are cutting your first tooth. I see it now almost ready to break through and in case I missed that sign the drool is EPIC. You are constantly chewing on everything, your fingers, tether’s, frozen gum packs. You aren’t sleeping, you are fussy, you poor baby.

In fact because you aren’t sleeping at night your whole schedule is off. We have been struggling with your nap times, because your wake up times are so random. I try to be home when you nap but with everything all over the place you have started taking naps not during your normal time in the car because you are so tired. You also have various people watching you, Grandma, daddy and two different babysitters. Schedules, mealtimes, naptimes don’t run as smoothly as I would like. You have been so tired you even fell asleep in your swing this week.

Thankfully, even with very little sleep, you are still a happy baby. You greet me every single morning standing up at your crib rails with a huge smile on your face. NOTHING can replace the feeling that I get when I see your smile. No matter how tired I am, no matter how much I wish I could sleep another 2 or 12 hours, that smiles makes me full of joy.

Its official, you got your hands on my phone this week, and I found your first selfie. At the age of 10 months. I can’t wait to teach you all about photography. I probably take way too many throughout the day but I just cannot help myself. I love the memories captured forever, I love the art, I love the challenge. And both you and your brother are just too darn adorable

You continue to eat everything I give you. This week we added dates from the farmers market (that you friggin LOVED), black beans, toast and now an olive garden breadstick. In my defense I just wanted to eat a hot meal, I just wanted you entertained, and I thought that you might like the feeling on your gums. You loved it to pieces.
