Taste Buds: Imperial Almond White Icing

This my friends may just be the finest frosting of all time. My mother met a woman in her travels who made wedding cakes for a living. When they chatted more about their mutual love of baking this woman shared her recipe with my mom. And I have to say I will be using this from now on as one of my go to frosting recipes.

    RECIPE: IMPERIAL ALMOND WHITE ICING

1 box of 10x sugar
1 cup Crisco
3 tablespoon cold milk
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 stick of imperial margin

DIRECTIONS
1. Beat Crisco and margarine
2. Add in 10x box of sugar slowly
3. Add in extract last
4. Beat on high for 3-4 minutes until smooth
Makes 6 servings
