A Delusional and Stressed Mommy Loses Her Mind

You know, I have a problem. Just because it can be done, doesn’t mean it SHOULD be done. I am the queen of the square peg into the round hole. With the mountain of things sliding at me in a vortex of doom I am sitting here agreeing to pile more on. Ms. Pool Shark is coming to visit. In order for her to visit I have to kick out Ms. Tiny, who is currently living with us and helping with the kids and I muck through what is going on with My Little Cricket. My parents are in town for 12 weeks and I need to plan visits and get togethers with them.

I am managing everyone’s expectations. I am of COURSE blessed that these people are in my life helping me. And I know I will be lifted up by them being here. But it doesn’t take away the fact that this is all so much overwhelming work right now. I have a ton of therapies starting for my Little Cricket. I have so much more research to do and things to figure out. I need six more of me just to get stuff done right now.

And just when the mountain gets higher and higher and I don’t think I can take one more thing stacked on my to-do list my eye started twitching again. It’s a stress thing. The last time this happened my house was under 2 years of horrible construction, I was working a job that had sucked out my soul, and my brother just died.

I don’t know if I am going to make it folks.

I haven't commented in a long time but I've been following along for years. I'm also feeling like nearing the end of my rope with two little ones at home while working a full time job also based out of my house. I know it might be hard to believe but I'm here for you if you need to chat, although it seems you have a lot of people in your life available to chat with!!

Thank you so much Nicole. As you know parenting can be ROUGH. With everything going on with my Little Cricket things are even rougher than normal. I appreciate you reaching out. Hope you are doing well.
