Happy Halloween from our Little Circus

We got invited for a small gathering of a few of our mom friends. She lives in a small little neighborhood that is perfect for our little kiddos. Plus since all of our kids are the same ages they should all start petering off about the same time. We all went over in costume to hang out and to play early. My Little Cricket was overjoyed at all the toys and checking everything out and running all over the place. Mr. Rogue and I took turns chasing the whirling dervish or chilling out with my Little Rose.

It took a few minutes but finally we all made it out of the house. I wasn’t sure if my Little Cricket got the concept of what was going on. But after going up with the group a few times he seemed to getting the knack of it. I loved that he ran up to show me what candy he got after each and every house. My Little Rose fell asleep halfway through our houses. So many emotions, so many memories being stirred up from my childhood. Being a mother, it’s such a wonderful, glorious, fabulous, exhausting journey.

We got back to the house and my Little Cricket dove into his bucket of candy. Mr. Rogue looked it all over first and then let him pick out two pieces. It was a late night, we packed up and headed out. Two tired little circus freaks in their car seats. Both fell asleep on the way home. It was an awesome night.
