Atlanta: Ms. Pixie’s Having a Baby, Time to Shower her with Love!

This morning we woke up early and headed to get something to eat. Since we were eating I decided to pack the nice clothes for the kids for the shower… which I forgot back in the room. Sigh. So the play clothes I put the kids in are just going to have to do. I didn’t have long to dwell on the pain of forgetting the clothes because the awesomeness of my burger. And as an added bonus My Little Rose slept through the whole meal so I got to eat my burger HOT. I died and went to mommy heaven. YUMMM.

We got to the shower, yay. I arranged with Mr. Rogue’s sister to see if she could get one of my niece’s friends to keep an eye on my Little Cricket and Little Ms. Sparkle. There was a super adorable little gated park out back. Perfect to keep the kids entertained outside while us adults celebrated inside. There was lots of OHHHing and AHHHHing over the bump, there was a ton of OHHHHing and AHHHHHHing over all the adorable baby gifts opened and of course prizes were won for the games.

After the shower we headed to Fowler Park, a close local park. The park at the shower was nice but it wasn’t super big. The kids needed more space to really RUN before we headed back to the hotel. We needed to get them to bed early because we were going out on the town. Little Ms. Sparkle is so amazing with My Little Cricket. I know he is younger, I know he doesnt respond the way she wants to often, but yet she still tries, she still includes him, and she still showers him with love.

Ms. Pool Shark and I love to visit the highest point in the city and eat. We have done it in several cities and now we were continuing the tradition in Atlanta. We got a sitter for the kids, we invited Mrs. Painter to come with us, and we went to Sundial Restaurant.

Shower looked lovely! I loved the pic of you holding her belly :) Parenting is exhausting but you make it look lovely! Going out on the town definitely makes it worth it, too :)
