Atlanta: The Aquarium

We woke slowly this morning. Our hotel was awesome, perfect in fact for us. There was a family room and kitchen in the center and on either side there was a suite including a large bedroom and bathroom. Like I said, perfect.

We were here in Atlanta a whole day before the shower. And so we had a day to have fun in the city. We grabbed breakfast and then headed downtown. It was time to visit the oh so awesome Atlanta Aquarium. I have been here once before a few years ago, but I just adore anything and everything museum, zoo or aquarium. We were there for hours, and it was SO MUCH FUN. My Little Cricket shares my love for aquariums. My Little Rose slept through a good majority of the day, she has plenty of time to grow into sharing our love.

After the aquarium we were starving. I did research and we ended up at white table cloth service again. The Capital Grill had beautiful views of the town and super yummy food. The kids had been sitting, eating for a while, very well behaved and then we hit the 2 hour mark, it was time to bring out the electronic entertainment.

When we got back it was late. We were tired. Bath times and bedtimes happened and then I took my Little Rose to my in-laws room. They were staying at the same hotel. Everyone got baby snuggles and my niece even got a little baby bottle practice. It was a short visit, barely a half hour, I was exhausted yet again.

My nightly pumping session consisted of a half hour phone conversation with Mr. Rogue, a diet coke and a fat piece of cheesecake. Which made the pumping oh so much more managable.

I think your Dad instilled a love of aquariums in our household too. J cannot get enough of them! I love those types of hotels!
