My Little Rose: The Nursery is Complete

Unfortunately with Mr. Rogue working all the time and with being pregnant and having to take care of my Little Cricket the putting together of the nursery was slow, slow, slow. I really wanted it done before my Little Rose was born but that just wasn’t going to happen. Well it could have happened if I wanted to go all pregozilla and psycho but I was already stressed, and exhausted and tired enough as it is. Plus with several things I wanted for the room on backorder I had to wait.

Over the past two weeks Mr. Rogue and my dad were able to put all the last pieces together. The crib had to be assembled, the shelves and pictures hung. And then I just had to put on the finishing touches.

The walls were already painted a delicious pink and the paintings were done. I had gone to Joanne Fabric with a cloth swatch of the curtains and put together two bouquets of flowers that I hoped would work. I wasn’t absolutely sure until I got the flowers to the room, And I friggin love them. The room was now perfection.

Its pretty close to exactly how I was hoping the room would look, even better in some cases. The only slightly off thing is that the rug was more grey and less blue than I was hoping.
