A Little Man Candy… No, No, No Ladies... The Car Bling Kind

It is a wonderful feeling when your village, who doesn’t even live in the same state, comes to support you in times of need. Over the past two weeks my mother in law has gone above and beyond to help in any way she can. The fact that Mr. Rogue and I both have parents that will do anything for us make those moments when we really need them a no brainer. We are truly blessed and oh so very thankful.

As a side note Mr. Rogue’s parents travel often, a few months ago they found themselves in Japan, specifically the Hyogo Prefecture. What they are known for is their Kobe Beef, a meat delicacy renowned for its flavor, tenderness, and fatty well marbled texture. Unfortunately Kobe Beef is expensive and the people that they were with opted to not go try it.

So in thanks for all the work his parents put into helping us we took Mr. Rogue’s parents to dinner at a fancy steakhouse where they serve Kobe Beef. We had a long drawn out three and a half hour meal full of delicious delicacies and my first wonderful glass of wine since I found out I was pregnant. And it was a fabulous glass, or three I had! Everyone had a fantastic meal and that steak was damn delicious.

And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better we walked into the courtyard to get our valeted cars and it was filled with super fancy, over the top crazy expensive cars owned by a Sheikh from Qatar. With the prices of these cars ranging in the millions they had quite the crowd, even from us jaded LALA land people that are used to seeing more than a few super-cars a day.
