A Whale of a Time

I wanted to stay busy and have fun with Ms. Fairy and I was super excited to be going places without having to run after my son. I didn’t really care what we did so I gave Ms. Fairy a very long list of options of what we could do. Her top pick was to visit the Aquarium… no problem as it is one of our favorite places in LALA land. My Little Cricket spent a good 20 minutes in the stroller and then the rest of the time RUNNING through the aquarium. He loves all the fish, and jellies and penguins and seals. Really I think with young kids the aquarium is more interesting than the zoo. The animals are much closer and easier for little tots to see.

Ms. Fairy is also working on her photography skills and although I didn’t have a ton of energy to dive into the intricacies of settings we did have a lot of conversations about composition of the shot, lighting and proper camera holding techniques.

Afterwards we headed to PF Chang’s for some yummy Chinese food and then we all went home and took a long deserved nap; my kind of rockin day.
