Girls Night Out with My Broke Down Girls

Having a toddler, and being pregnant, and having a husband that works all of the time, and having issues leaving my son with someone I rarely get to go out like I used too. Ms. Pool Shark and I met the third in our trio, Mrs. Dancer for a nice posh dinner at Takami. We have all lived together, we have all traveled together, we are more like sisters than friends. To say our almost 3.5 hour dinner was awesome would be an understatement. We ordered super slow, one course at a time to draw out the love. Without consulting the girls I ordered a garlic roasted edamame, I almost died from the awesomeness of that. It is one of their house specialties and it was super delicious. My only wish was that I could have drank (pregnancy prohibits the amount of wine I wanted to drink). The restaurant was super fabulous, the sweeping views of downtown as the sun set was phenomenal, and the food OH MY GOODNESS. I am a sushi snob now and that sushi was probably the best I have ever had.

The perfect night turned a little off when Mrs. Dancer favorite boots literally fell apart. At least it happened on the way out. My poor broke down girls.
