Rogue Baby #2: Second OBGYN Appointment

Unfortunately my last appointment I was two days too early to measure a heartbeat. And since my OBGYN is amazing, and she knew I would stress over Christmas break, she squeezed me in for an ultrasound today. The only time she could fit me in was during my Little Cricket’s naptime and during a time when I couldn’t have someone watch him. So I had to bring my Little Cricket with me and just hope that the ticking timebomb a toddler at naptime can be wont go off. I strapped him in his stroller, fed him snacks and brought his favorite little laptop (which I had hid for the week in anticipation of this appointment). During the ultrasound I really won’t be able to move for a good 15 minutes so I knew I had to be prepared. I stressed for nothing. My Little Cricket was great. And the best news of all, my doctor was able to find the babies heartbeat. I was so relieved I had tears in my eyes.

I see my doctor again in a little over two weeks and I have opted to take the MaterniT21; a non-invasive prenatal testing for fetal chromosomal abnormalities. I am super excited about this test. My first two pregnancies both resulted in miscarriages. Mr. Rogue and I got our chromosomes tested but nothing showed up negative in our scans. This new test allows you to know about the worse chromosomal abnormalities with only a little blood drawn. As an added bonus we can also find out the sex of the baby, all at only 10 weeks. YEHAW!

Praying for a healthy baby.
Praying for an uncomplicated blissful pregnancy.
And then praying for a little girl.
