Mommy Group Toddler Session 1: Class 10

I missed the past three weeks of my mommy group class. It totally sucks but was totally unavoidable. One week I was in San Diego visiting Mr. Rogue’s aunt and uncle. The next week I was in Pittsburgh visiting Ms. Pool Shark. And last week I just couldn’t make it in. I could not get out of my house. It was totally the first time I intentionally skipped class, and I hated myself for it. Not only do I love it and I learn so much each and every class it also is expensive, in hindsight I don’t know if I would have signed up this session if I knew how much I would be missing.

Anyways, with this week being Halloween, and this week being our Halloween class photo, there was no way I was missing class. We were asked to arrive a little early so we could get our kiddos in costume and snap a few photos. My Little Cricket was an ewok for our family costume but I couldnt resist buying him a second costume when it was oh so perfect and on sale for 80% off. I got his little vampire costume for a steal, and with his little vampire teeth it was too cute. All the kids were gorgeous.

Then once everyone arrived we tried to get all the dressed up adorable toddlers on the couch for a group photo. We sang songs and clapped hands to try and keep all the kids attention for a few minutes. it was so much easier to do when they were babies.

Finally after the fun was over we all sat in our little loose circle and talked while the kids played with the helpers. I really missed my group and had a ton of questions. Now we are moving to a month to month meeting. As our kids get older and we become more comfortable in our teaching philosophies there is less need to meet every week.
