How Much Can I Pack Into a Day

This morning Mrs. Faith and I woke up bright and early so we could visit the farmers market. Its always a fun place to take out of town guests. Its near the beach, the weather is divine, and there are so many fun things to taste and sample and see and buy. Mrs. Faith fell in love with the fresh figs, the wildflower honey, the fresh dates, and of course her favorite flower the protea, which were in abundance at the market. We grabbed a bunch of supplies and headed home with our yummy loot.

I made a new appetizer that I love from our fresh bought farmers market items. Sliced and toasted baguette, smooth on goat cheese, drizzle on honey and top with a fresh date. It was a most delicious lunch.

With Mrs. Faith in town I took the opportunity to head over to the dentist. I needed to replace a crown, which had become loose, and I wasn’t happy about it. I was there for over an hour, the new dentist is amazing, just super thorough. She takes forever, which I guess is a good thing since she doesn’t make mistakes and is pretty gentle. But I just wanted to get out of there. I opted not to have an x-ray. After all I might be pregnant and I didn’t want to take the risk if, cross my fingers, I am.

With the dentist finally over I headed home. Picked up my Little Cricket and my mother-in-law and zipped over to my sister-in-laws. Mrs. Faith came into town early to see the grandkids… which translates to the fact that I have to share her with my sister-in-law. We actually, good naturedly, fight over the days we get. Seriously.

And then the last thing on my to do list today was meet the Dancers for dinner. Mrs. Dancer’s parents were in town. I have known Mrs. Dancer and been best friends with her since we were 13. And since we were ALWAYS over each other’s houses my parents became her parents and hers mine. Since they were in town only a short time we squeezed in a quick dinner. Time melted away and we all had a fabulous visit passing the baby around the table.

Nobody likes to go to the DDS, it's one of those necessary evils we all have to do.
