A Day of Fun with My Mother-in-law (Seriously)

I hear so many horror stories about women and their mother-in-law’s and I have to say that I am SO BLESSED with having Mrs. Faith in my life. She if fabulous and I just adore her. This morning Mrs. Faith watched my Little Cricket for a while so I could get my hair done. It was a nice luxury… I really wish my mother or my mother-in-law lived close, life would be so much easier.

After I was done we went out to run a few errands. I wanted to get another big pot. Two years ago I bought a GIGANTIC pot. And although I use it pretty often I sometimes don’t need that much pot. So I decided to get an in between pot; something smaller than GIGANTOR but larger than my biggest regular pot. WE went to Surfas, our local fancy cooking store… ahhh the damage I could do in there. But we managed to leave with just the pot.

After Surfas we headed to my super secret little Orchid place. Mrs. Dancer is actually the one that introduced me to them. The quality of their orchids is amazing, and they last for four months. I just adore orchids, and Mrs. Faith is a big fan of flowers. We had so much fun in there and I left with enough to fill the house.

Mrs. Faith watches a bunch of those food network shows. One of them had a special about food trucks and so of course when she found out her boys worked right by a bunch of food trucks she wanted to try it out. As an added bonus both my husband and my brother-in-law made it out of work to have lunch with us. They all decided to eat at the Indian food truck. I opted for a Greek truck not far away.

We sat in the outdoor courtyard and dived into our yumminess. My Gyro was good, not fantastic out of this world, but for a food truck it was good. Mrs. Faith and the boys sure did love their Indian food though.

Finally at home, with the baby in bed we curled up in our comfy chairs and flipped through choices on Netflix. We opted to watch Bones, a show neither of us had seen. Verdict is still out if I like it or not.

A trucking lunch. That's pretty cool.
