Florida Road Trip Day 22 - Miami Childrens Museum

It was our last day in Florida and it was a busy one. Since our flight was at an ungodly hour in the morning out of Miami we opted to get a hotel right next to the airport. We checked out of our home away from home for the past week. And prepared to say our final farwells to the keys… but before then we needed lunch. Mr. Rogue found good reviews for a local place, off the main drag, with awesome food and an adorable little patio overlooking the water. I ordered the Salmon Ruben Sandwich which was INCREDIBLE!!!! I did also get a size salad… not really sure why in the world they would put cereal on my salad for but whatever. My Little Cricket liked it!

We timed the day perfectly. Check out on time. Lunch and gassed up on time. And my Little Cricket passed out for most of the three hour drive to Miami. Of course the Florida Keys said a very nice wet goodbye to us. Don’t worry it cleared up quickly and we made it to Mami in time for a little sunshine.

Since we knew tomorrow would be rough on my Little Cricket we opted to do something he would love, and needs to do. We went to the Children’s Museum where he could run and explore to his hearts content. This place was super fun. There were so many imaginary play places and things to do. I think Mr. Rogue had just as much fun as my Little Cricket.
