Super Dancer to the Rescue

We landed very late last night from Kansas and I woke up done. I just wasn’t going to be able to get throught the day. So I called in reinforcements. Mrs. Dancer came over, she went with me and My Little Cricket to the grocery store and entertained the boy while I focused on shopping… boy its so much easier to shop without a baby in the basket.

And then when we got home she fed the baby while I put away the groceries. Help like that, its like a big warm hug. And once the baby went to bed, I made us lunch; home-made hummus, pita, carrots and a yummy shrimp salad.

I thought my horrible day couldn’t get any better and that is when Mrs. Dancer gave me the best gift of all. I had been lamenting over lunch about the challenge of being a new mom and my weight. The two things that are always taking over a good portion of my brain on a day to day basis. So she offered to watch my Little Cricket once a week so I could go back to an eight week session of my dance class. She gave me the best gift ever… TIME. I signed up for a class and am so looking forward to my glorious eight weeks of awesomeness. THANK you Mrs. Dancer. You are a gem!
