Ann Arbor: Mrs. Bitch and her Adorable Little Giant

I got to my friends late late last night and although we sat up talking for a few minutes we all went to bed pretty much right away. I was so thankful that she had the spare room all set up with the pack in play. He did great and slept like a champ thank goodness. I finally got to meet my friends not so little baby boy. He is 2 now and he is so full of curiosity. He was great around the baby and Mrs. Bitch and I had a great time catching up. Its really fabulous being able to connect with my friends with children on a whole new level. Being a mom was something I have wanted for so long, and took forever I feel to have my little boy, that I treasure these moments. Just two moms, hanging out with their kids. It was so fabulous.

To get out of the house we ran a few errands, one of the things I wanted to do was to see if we could grab some donuts and cider. Since there was a cider mill close-ish to their house we decided to pop by. Sadly they only serve donuts on the weekends but at least we were able to get cider and even pick up a few other yummy treats.

After the cider mill we headed downtown for dinner. We decided to skip some of the fancier joints and opted for a more family friendly restaurant. I had never been to the Cottage Inn, they had great family fare. My Little Cricket was getting a little fussy in the middle of dinner and Mrs. Bitch offered some of her squash. It was the first time I fed him whole pieces of food not pureed so I was a little nervous. HE LOVED IT.

I can see your friend in her little boy. (sorry, I can't bring myself to call such a beautiful woman, Mrs. Bitch!)
