Taste Buds: Peanut Butter Fudge

So I am on a peanut butter kick right now. I am finding myself circling through the kitchen just for a spoonful of the stuff. And then when I am eating my luscious peanut butter I remember my mother’s amazing recipe for Peanut Butter Fudge and then I had to stop everything I was doing so I could make it right that second. As I usually do I called my mom, because I inevitably misplaced the recipe for this yet AGAIN. So she looks up her recipe and patiently gives it to me for a fourth time. Now its here, on the blog, officially recorded so I will hopefully never lose it again.

1 box confectioners’ sugar or ½ bag 10x
½ cup milk
4 tablespoons peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter

1. Cook sugar, milk and peanut butter on low flame until softball stage
2. Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter.
3. Whip the mixture with a large spoon until your arms fall off
4. Pour in a buttered cake pan and refrigerate for two hours before serving.

Makes 15 servings

Ha ha! You forgot one more step between #3 and #4. Switch arms and whip the tar out of it until your other arm falls off too! lol.
