Mr. Rogue’s Hand Check-up

We were excited to get Mr. Rogue’s cast off to check his hand. We arrived at the office with his super cool doctor and waited not so patiently for the cast to come off. In good news the stitches were clean, no sign of infection, but I was sad when the doctor warned Mr. Rogue to not move his finger. Apparently the tendon and the stitches are very delicate this early and moving it could cause irreparable damage. We were both disappointed; we were hoping that we could find out today that the surgery was successful enough to bring function back to his thumb. Instead we have to wait at least another week if not two to see if he can move it.

After the doctors examination the technician applied another cast, this time a blue one, which will mean a ton of more questions from anyone that sees him. Ahhh my funny man, how he hates to be the center of any attention.

I'm just happy the surgery went well, and he is healing nicely.
