Baby Brain: The Nursery is Empty

Finally after what seems like FOREVER I placed the order for the major pieces of furniture today. Mr. Rogue and I have been working on the look of the room, and also safety features, for months and now that the ordering is placed I feel like we are moving forward.

We have been slowly cleaning out all the craft things from the room that will be the nursery. Of course now all the craft things need new homes which lead to organizing the garage, moving more things to the attic and rearranging the computer room closet. Right now some of the other rooms in the house are a little more cluttered than I would like thanks to not everything having a new home yet but I know that eventually we will get things back to the organized way I like it.

ONE WALL HOLDS THE DOOR TO THE LANDING, THE CLOSET DOOR AND THE BATHROOM DOOR

With the furniture ordered and a delivery date for later this week set Mr. Rogue and I finally made the last push to get the final things out of the nursery room. I can now happily say it is now finished. The room is clear of stuff, the walls and floor have been freshly wiped down, and we are ready for the furniture to arrive. This room is about to start LOOKING like a bona fide nursery.

TWO OF THE WALLS HAVE WINDOWS – ONE A VERY LARGE FLOOR LENGTH WINDOW AND THE OTHER A SMALLER HIGHER WINDOW

Without all the stuff this room looks rather large. At 14x13 there is plenty of space for the changing dresser, crib, rocking chair and book shelf that are on the way. I am getting really excited; the nursery finally feels like it is getting there.
