The Container Store Mecca Extraordinaire

For a little bit of an OCD obsessive organizer I have weirdly never been to The Container Store. It isn’t like I was intentionally avoiding the place, but I also never went out of my way to go. Perhaps it was because the sheer magnitude of all that glorious organizational material in one giant store would overwhelm me.

Regardless Mr. Rogue is home for the month on leave from work., which I am super excited about, all that time with my most perfect man. Generally while he is home he likes to go through the entire house and organize anything that doesn’t make sense to his severely ordered mind. I am seriously the luckiest girl in the world. This break however we took that organization a step further. You see with Ms. Pixie taking over the guest room, and with the craft room scheduled for the new nursery there was a ton of misplaced stuff.

We ordered a large book shelf for our bedroom to house my book collection that used to be in the guest room closet. And last month I had rent a husband come out and create a large platform in our attic so we could move all my holiday bins out of the garage. Mr. Rogue then organized the rest of the random stuff in the garage and now there is plenty of room for the things from the craft room. Of course the craft room needs bins to organize all the stuff in before making the move to the garage.

So today we went on an adventure to The Container Store. We were there for three hours. It wasn’t because we couldn’t find the bins… oh no it was because we were filled with joy and wonder at seeing so many ways to organize everything. We had such a great time, corny maybe I know, but right now it is about the simple pleasures.

Plus I was able to find little tiny wooden baby hangers!!!! SCORE!
