Baby Brain: Living in Jammies, Hunger Cravings

Mr. Rogue haven’t left the house for more than 5 hours in the past two weeks. We haven’t gone to dinner, we haven’t gone to someone’s house, we have gone to the grocery store and my doctor appointments and that is all. Instead we have taken this holiday to be super lazy and super comfy. We have watched a billion movies, we have randomly started organizing and we have sat around in our slippers and jammies. People talk about getting cabin fever when they are home too much, and usually I am one of those people, but I honestly have to say that I am embracing this new homebody me.

Today however I sent Mr. Rogue out of the house. It is the first day I had a massive craving for something that wasn’t at the house and of course Mr. Rogue went out to go get it for his crazy pregnant wife. You see since I made Grandma’s raisin bread a few days before Christmas we have been eating raisin bread every morning, which has replaced my once a day bagel. This morning however I woke up and the hungry pregnant monster that is me first thing in the morning would be satisfied with nothing but a bagel. A freshly made this morning bagel from a bakery around the corner. Seriously I TRIED to find something else, I even took a couple bites of a few things but my monster craving wasn’t having it.

I also wasn’t feeling well, which might have added to my unreasonableness. Practically in tears I went to Mr. Rogue and asked him to go NOW to the bagel place. After a few moments of pouting and begging as I was trying to push him out the door he conceded and off he went. When he came home 15 minutes later with my hand delivered salt bagel non-toasted with cream cheese I was the happiest girl in the world.

Crisis averted. I was saved!
