Ripley's Believe it or Not

On our last day hanging out with the family we thought it would be fun to visit Ripley's Believe it or Not. None of us had ever been so we weren't really sure what to expect. Of course getting six adults and two little kids all piled into the car and down to Hollywood without losing anyone was a little bit of a challenge, but we worked it out. Two hours after leaving the house we finally got to Ripley's.

I used to watch 'Ripley's Believe it or Not' with my family when I was a kid so I as at least aware of some of the weird kind of things that could be in this building. I was really surprised at just how crazy some of the stuff was though. Animals with multiple heads or only one eye, artwork created out of strange materials and the strangest people that can do the weirdest things.

I also loved that there were so many interactive pieces in this museum. It was just perfect for Ms. Bambi. She is four and it was just so much fun to see her play with all the activities. There were shadow performances, games. microscopes to see impossibly small things and even a Marilyn Monroe vent area that was hilarious!

Finally after hours seeing the oddities and playing we all finally we ready to go home and kick up our feet. Mom cooked a fantastic meal while a few of us took a nap, some of us relaxed and watched a movie. After a busy morning it was a great afternoon at home. We all ate and Mrs. Fruits parents got to have a good american meal. I even cooked an apple pie so they could try it, you don't get more american than apple pie! And then, because my Mother-in-law is fantastic, she washed all the dishes. As in everything, as in I didn't have to worry about a thing. I LOVE MOMS!!!!

The Fruits leave tomorrow for the Phillipines, they will be gone for five months. I am so attached to Mrs. Fruit and to these two adorable kids; Ms. Bambi and her little brother Baby Fruit. The kids are going to change so much in just five short months.
