The Circle of Life

I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions. First I have been incredibly busy the past few weeks, second I have been around people running from here to there without a break for what seems like forever, and third the depression seems to rear its ugly head in the worst times. This morning I got the news that my aunt passed away unexpectedly. Needless to say it was a difficult day all around. I tried to put on a good face, after all I had company in town, but I was upset for so many reasons. In the end I went with Ms. Ivey and Mrs. Dancer to see a movie. Maybe escapism is the thing I need right now.

We ended up seeing The Avengers which was FANTASTIC. Not just your ordinary comic book movie I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. There were so many quirky funny lines and with Robert Downey Jr being so dreamy and the eye candy of Thor I was pretty happy. At least it did the trick and helped me forget for a little while at least.

After the movie we ended up having a lazy night at home. Mr. Rogue was home from work and Mr. & Mrs. Dancer came over. We cooked up a ton of bbq; steaks and salmon with corn on the cob and zucchini. YUMMM!

After eating we just relaxed around our new fire pit in the backyard. It was a perfect balmy night soothed by super yummy grown up milkshakes. A simple perfect summer night.

This was such a tough day :( I couldn't bring myself to cry until much later that evening, then it didn't stop until the following evening....

I love Mr. Rogues smile, so genuine, so perfect. Glad you are having so much fun, hope the highs outweigh the dips in life.
