I Don’t Want to Grow Up

For the past two weeks I have been so immersed in studying and traveling and trying to keep the most important balls juggled that other things have been pushed to the backburner. Today I had to take a peek into those pots and it was an ugly sight indeed. Messy disorganized stuff I just did not want to get into. No one, after all, can be a Toys R Us kid forever.

Without any ambition I forced myself to do the things that I had to do. I whipped myself into shape and just got stuff done. Ahhh if only the world would put only the things we want to do in our path. The world then would be a messy unorganized apocalypse.

Yeah, as children we just can't wait to grow up, we parents try to slow that process down, but nature takes over and before you know it, we all want to be kids again. The best part is, we may age, but we don't have to lose that inner child.
