The Sunday Skinny: Week 12

I did lose one pound this week which is good. Not as good as I wanted but it keeps going down and that makes me happy. I may just dub this upcoming week “Let the Gluttony Begin” because although my weight was 181.5 when I left yesterday morning for my vacation I have since been a very bad girl already. Yesterday I had a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast, Caesar salad wrap for lunch, a snickers bar and some peanuts for a snack and then salmon and rice for dinner. Throw in the five diet cokes I drank, the grande chi tea latte with extra whipped cream and the oh so heavenly Kailua and cream… which is about 5 million calories and you have the first day of a series of gluttonous days of eating.

I am going to try to be good in some places, like picking salmon over a burger, but I am not going to avoid all the lovely yumminess that is bad for me. I hope that I won’t gain too much weight while away but I am prepared to accept whatever the scale gives me when I get home.

    WEIGHT GAIN CHART
Weight Gain Round 5: 210 pounds. 20 pounds gained when I lost the baby.

Weight Gain Round 4: 190 pounds. I lost weight for the wedding and then I gained it all back plus an additional 10 pounds. The wedding gave me a date to reach for but once that day passed all my plans fell apart and the bingeing started again. BLAST IT!!!

Weight Gain Round 3: 180 pounds. When my brother passed away I started bingeing regularly to cover my emotions and gained another 30 pounds.

Weight Gain Round 2: 150 pounds. I gained 15 pounds when I tackled that large project at work and worked all those long hours for a year.

Weight Gain Round 1: 135 pounds. I gained the inevitable ‘I’m in a comfy relationship’ 10 pounds after I started dating my husband.

Start weight when I moved to California 125.

GOAL WEIGHT = 135-150 pounds

hey people going off diets on vacation always. its like a bi-law. you'll get over it when vacation is done and you will once again stick to your guns of exercise :)

It's not a diet but a new way of life and cheating is just part of the deal. As long as you eat healthy 90% of the time, I think it's okay to splurge once in a while, otherwise, why LIVE?
