The Sunday Skinny: Week 11

I got on the scale today and cursed. Again I let the lure of a weekend indulgence take me off my determination to lose weight. I thought for a moment about switching my Sunday skinny to Friday... Fridays weights are always better than Sundays... but the day does not matter the lifestyle does. I just need to try harder.

For instance, I woke up Saturday to a 1.8 weight loss. If I had just been a good girl Saturday I should have been able to report a 2 pound weight loss this week which was my goal... HOWEVER Cracker Jack got in the way of my success. And it’s my entire fault. I knew if I ate it I wouldn’t have as good of a number this morning. In fact I mentioned it to Mrs. Dancer as I took a good photo of me with the Cracker Jack in case I made it to my goal today (fat chance of that – pun intended), and then a bad photo of me hating on the Cracker Jack if I did gaining weight today.

Oh how I hate being right. I blame the very good bottle of Syrah for my horrible choices last night.

Despite the fact that I skipped my workout yesterday and last night’s debacle with the crack I did manage to lose 1.5 pounds this week and you know what they say, a loss is a loss is a loss.

Weight Gain Round 5: 210 pounds. 20 pounds gained when I lost the baby.

Weight Gain Round 4: 190 pounds. I lost weight for the wedding and then I gained it all back plus an additional 10 pounds. The wedding gave me a date to reach for but once that day passed all my plans fell apart and the bingeing started again. BLAST IT!!!

Weight Gain Round 3: 180 pounds. When my brother passed away I started bingeing regularly to cover my emotions and gained another 30 pounds.

Weight Gain Round 2: 150 pounds. I gained 15 pounds when I tackled that large project at work and worked all those long hours for a year.

Weight Gain Round 1: 135 pounds. I gained the inevitable ‘I’m in a comfy relationship’ 10 pounds after I started dating my husband.

Start weight when I moved to California 125.

GOAL WEIGHT = 135-150 pounds

My mantra I am constantly saying in my head – “Skinny Tastes Better”.
