Photo Phriday: Bugs Up-close & Personal

I spent time with the macro lens in the backyard today. Still trying to memorize its limitations and what it can do. I would love to go out and photo the dragonflies but spending time in the backyard with bugs that don’t move as much will make it easier to get better with this lens before I try to move onto other faster harder to photo subjects. Although I feel like my skin is crawling with bugs when I try and photo them there is something magically beautiful about looking at the eyes of a spider, or the tiny hairs on the back of a fly. Like a whole new world is opened up right in front of my eyes, a world where the tiniest creatures are shown in vivid detail.

That second one is a crab spider, but I'm not sure who the last one is! Scary for sure!
