Indianapolis, IN: Three Woman and a Baby

We woke up very early this morning. With less than 24 hours in Detroit we were trying to see as many people as possible so we met one of my mom’s oldest friends, Mrs. Redhead, for breakfast. This woman has the energy of ten women combined and it is always a real pleasure to be a small part of her whirlwind. With one of the kindest souls I know, Mrs. Redhead is just like family but BETTER.

MRS. REDHEAD AND MY MOM ARE SO CLOSE

After breakfast mom and I headed on our last leg of our trip. We drove 6 hours south to Indianapolis to visit the Lambchop's; my brother, his wife and my adorable two year old nephew. It was a fantastically bright day, so bright in fact that the sun reflected in blinding light off of the snow covered ground. It was seriously blinding.

MOM BLINDED BY THE LIGHT

Once we arrived at the Lambchop's we headed to Bravo to visit my
brother at work. He recently got promoted and is now the new executive chef. We are all so proud of him!

MY BROTHER'S RESTAURANT

I ordered the most fabulous beef stuffed ravioli, on my sister-in-laws recommendation, and I was so super glad I did. Seriously one of the best dinners I have had in a while, thanks Mrs. Lambchop!

YUM YUM THE BEST RAVIOLI

Baby Lambchop had a ton of attention. Not only did a few of the workers swing by to say hello, he also had three women to entertain him.

THREE WOMEN AND A BABY

Little kids grow up so fast. Last time I saw Baby Lambchop he was just a little baby, see here. Now he is such a little man, with his own little personality and just stinking adorable. During dinner he would pause, glance over toward the kitchen (the Bravo restaurant chain has an open kitchen) and watch for his daddy. Baby Lambchop would sit there staring in concentration until finally he spotted him.

WATCHING OUT FOR DADDY

When the baby wasn't eating or watching for daddy he was being
entertained by us girls. Faces like these are probably going to end up getting me labelled as the weird aunt. I will do anything for one of his smiles, even brave public humiliation.

What a silly face you have! I agree, anything is worth a smile from Jacob even if it is humiliating. BRAVO!!
