IMA Thornton Dial Conversation

A few days ago, in Indianapolis we visited the IMA. I really enjoy when museums step into the modern day socialization era and IMA had a fabulous conversation wall centered around one of its featured artists Thornton Dial. Although I love the subjects Dial brings to focus on his work, racism, terrorism, rape, I am not such a huge fan of the actual art. However this conversation wall allowed the people in the museum to interact, which to me is fabulous, creativity breeds creativity.

With only a large grey wall with a question and a small table of post-its, this piece created a conversation and sparked creativity in its guests.

People can be so creative, or funny, or just dang adorable; I took photos of some of my favourites, A+ for the IMA.
