Puerto Vallarta: Resting In Paradise

After a long day with more planes, layovers, nausea and walking up and down cramped airplane isle ways we finally arrived in Puerto Vallarta, a gorgeous Mexican coast luxurious vacation spot. I stopped by this small popular vacation spot last year on a cruise with Ms. Ivey but the boat only stopped for a few hours. I was looking forward to spending more time exploring the city.

The resort was beautiful of course full of soft waterfalls, tropical trees and tons of lounge chairs.

One thing that I was not expecting, I guess it just didn’t cross my mind, was that vacationing in Mexico in November is considered the “off” season therefore most of the resort was blissfully empty.

We reserved a suite with a gorgeous patio and an ocean view. I spent quite a bit of time nestled on the lounge chair reading a book out there.

After exploring a bit I was hungry and tired in that order so we headed to the buffet.

After my experience with food in Sweden I was super nervous about the food at the resort. I did not want to spend another vacation constantly nauseous and sick. Thankfully the baby loved the Mexican food as much as it hated the Swedish food. Bring on the guacamole!

After our late lunch/early dinner we find a nice comfy spot near the water.

We snagged some lounge chairs and kicked our feet up.

Mr. Rogue grabbed two Margaritas (don’t worry both were for himself) and a glass of water for me.

We held hands and watched the sun set while listening to the lapping waves. It was a great end to a tiring day.
