He has been gone for over 30 hours and comes home only to shower and catch a quick nap before heading off to work again. This is the time at his work when it is the hardest.
We now joke when we see each other. I ask how he is and he always answers with ‘Tired’.
He asks ‘How were your days’.
Days, as in he only sees me every three or four days. We joke because if we don’t I will cry. Sigh being a good wife is sometimes very very hard.

That is so sad that your man has to put in such incredibly long hours and leave you all alone. At least you get to travel and help fill in the void somewhat, but NOTHING can replace that wonderful man in your life. I hope it's over soon.
