The world of macro photography has opened up the delicate beauty and minute detail of these creepy crawly multi-legged insects.

I am not sure how it quite happened but somewhere I lost most of my fear of bugs and instead that fear is now replaced with fascination.

To spend an hour on my knees painfully crawling slowly toward a tiny bug seems weird but the photos make me OH SO HAPPY and it makes it OH SO WORTH IT.

Of course there is the occasional moment when I throw my hands up in the air and run away squealing.

Those moments however I am proud to say are becoming fewer and further apart.

your post title reminds me of the commercial that says "things that make you go MMMMM" Campbells right? hahhah great pics bug luva!
The moth like butterflies are called skippers, great monarch shot and the bugs! You amaze me, especially since when you were a little girl and the hair ball floated in the bathtub, you screamed bloody murder thinking it was a BUG. What a shock at how far you've come, my darling!
