Spring is a time when flowers carpet the world but in my opinion it is most beautiful in the desert, a place where there is little color most of the year, a place you don’t expect to see delicate blooms, a place when in spring is simply breath taking. This week I focused my Photo Phriday on these delicate blooms who are brave enough to survive in the desert.
And then I just had to throw in these two cactus photos for good measure.
I love the desert flowers! The Yucca is the first, then the prickly pear. The last one is a pencil cactus. I can't tell some of the others, they're too close to see for sure! You've really got to go see Barb, my cousin in Riverside and see all her beautiful plants in her huge yard.
