Photo Phriday: Madrona Marsh

Since I was feeling a bit better I decided to take some time at the park. I saw many birds that I have seen before but still it was a wonderful day spent in the sunshine and I always get excited when I get good shots no matter if I have seen the bird before or not. Here are some of my favorites. Hope you enjoy.

This Say's Phoebe perches, flies off only to come back to his perch again and again. Once I found out where he liked to sit I slowly made my way closer to his perch.

I loved the colors and reflections of the water, they seem to almost mimic the bird.

The black phoebe looked at me as I tried to get a bit closer.

I tried and TRIED to get this damn Mallard to be in the light and facing me but as you can see by the look he is peeking at me he was constantly running away. I loved his blue head and the color of the water together. Maybe another day as he took off right after this shot.

The finches were SINGING away. There were so many of them and the air was filled with their constant song.

The Coot looks a bit devilish with his little red eye and red spot on his forhead.

This little Yellow Rumped Warbler stopped mid-song to check me out. He was not scared as he was curious.
