A Large Part of the Bathroom Lodged in My Lung

Last night I was coughing and wheezing, I admit when my husband got home at 11:30pm from work I was a bit crabby. Because we had just started construction and because electricians and plumbers were coming the next day there were things we needed to discuss and decide on so I could relate the answers to the workers. And with me not feeling well the conversations ended up being less like two adults who love each other talking out some problems but rather one person, my husband, trying to deal with a 31 year old toddler. Yes I freely admit I was being a big baby last night.

This morning wasn’t any better, I dragged myself through my morning routine; oatmeal, cut up fruit and a book but I SO still was not feeling well. The house which I had cleaned last night got another layer of fine dust. Sighing to myself I grabbed the bucket of cleaning supplies and started fighting the dust. After 20 minutes I realized I was not winning and that my coughing was getting worse. It dawned on me that I was not feeling well because of all the crap floating around in the air.

I set up the air filter in the family room and ditched the cleaning deciding instead to curl up in bed with a book for a few hours. I will clean when I start to feel a bit better.

My mom had a sign in our home: Although you'll find my house a mess, come in, sit down, converse. It doesn't always look like this some days, it's even worse! There's always tomorrow to clean. Did you put up that shield to stop the dust from going all over the house? It will help.
