Just Saw Avatar

I just walked in the door from seeing the movie, which ended not more than an hour ago. When I see an amazing movie, that makes me leave the theatre with a charged high of wonder at what we are capable of, to take stories, imagination, technology and a ton of work to transport me on a journey of fantasy I almost cry with joy.

This movie unfortunately took me a while to get to see, but the brilliant aftermath of it will stay with me forever. When a movie takes me out of my day to day life, when it makes me question who I am as a person and what I am trying to accomplish with my life and when it drops a good majority of the “noise”, all that crap we fill our thoughts up with that don’t really matter, it gives me goose bumps. It makes me sit up and notice the big picture.

Not all of us are faced with grandiose heroism like the main character but we all have our own battles with ourselves or with the people in our lives, to be the best that we can be. It makes me appreciate the millions of little failures in my life that have lead me to my greatest successes. It makes me appreciate my curiosity and the limitless possibilities I allow myself as I try to ignore those that attempt to bring me down.

James Cameron is a true genius and this movie will spark many to dream big including me.

I'm so glad you finally saw this spectacular movie and enjoyed it as much as I did. I haven't seen a movie this good in YEARS! It has been such a huge success, it is now the most watched movie of ALL TIME - yes, Avatar even beat Titanic! I am certain we've not seen the last of Avatar - there's just got to be a sequel, don't you think?
