Rising After the Fall

Confucius says: “Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.”

Yesterday I met Mrs. Bulldog for dinner and cheated on my diet. I fell into a VERY large appetizer of Vegetable Tempura. As I sighed in delight over the amount of calories I was cramming into my mouth Mrs. Bulldog stated: “Well at least we are eating VEGETABLES”.

Point taken; she is right there is a small amount of vegetable in there amid all the fried yummy goodness and tomorrow is another day where I can rise after my fall. I blame the fact that there were not glasses of wine on the table due to Mrs. Bulldog’s pregnancy, we had to indulge in something and who am I to deny a pregnant woman.

It was DAMN tasty too!

P.S. Mrs. Bulldog I DO have that shirt in a yellow green I knew it looked familiar :) although it looks much better on you!

That's what temptations are for - to indulge in. There's nothing wrong with a little indulgence once in a while.

That meal was amazing, I'm already planning on taking Mr. Bulldog there. And the sweater is super cute in that yellow color!
