Photo Phriday: Desert Flowers

Cacti are vastly overlooked in the plant department but there is a ton to recommend them and continue being one of my favourite things to photo. I enjoy them because they are the underdog; no they are not roses nor are they particularly beautiful most of the year. But oh when they flower it is an array of beauty that makes me want to weep. Also they don’t take that much water or care to keep alive, they are my favourite I cannot kill you in my house, my cat won’t eat you kind of houseplant.
