Nerdy Birdy: Zion National Park

I was surprised when we got to Zion that I did not see very many birds. There was tons of water, we visited a few nice secluded spots with what seemed like the perfect environment for birds but there were hardly any around. Funny enough I found only three birds but good news they were all new so I could cross them off the list. Two woodpeckers near the visitor’s center and the dipper by the campground. All three were near a ton of people and not off in the secluded corners.
