Nerdy Birdy: Las Vegas

When we reached Las Vegas I found this mystery bird sitting right on the sidewalk. I think it is some type of Thrasher or Grackle but I am having a hard time making an exact identification. For now I will pose the question to you.

Addendum (11/2/09): Looks like my mystery bird is a Female Great Tailed Grackle. Thanks to Mrs. Ivey Leagues wonderful bird loving sister my mystery bird has now been identified. And the most exciting part is that it is a new bird, Hurrah!
