How Embarrassing

I feel like I have been walking around the mall all day with my skirt tucked into my underwear. Just now, as in just a few minutes ago, A friend pointed out that the new buttons under the banner on my Blog look different on her computer than they do on mine. So I jumped on my husbands PC and I found out that the new buttons that I put onto my site last week, the buttons I was so proud of, are completely out of whack. Instead of lining up right next to each other like they were supposed to be, they were stacked on top of each other. In other words it looked on certain computers like I hired a 6 year old to program my buttons. It is SO EMBARRASSING.

Now I am not a novice when it comes to code or websites, in my last past life I was a web expert. But for some reason I broke one of the number one rules when making changes on a website, I did not check the changes on a Mac AND a PC. Generally it is not a huge issue because when I make changes I am usually on my PC, and any changes you make on a PC will translate well to a Mac. Of course I am still in denial that I have to use a Mac. I have issues.

It has been 12 days since my PC kicked the bucket and I have attempted to reconnect with the Mac. I have tried to like it again. We have had long walks on the beach, in depth conversations about our hopes and dreams, I have even considered briefly letting the Mac take permanent residence on my desk. However that was all before today. After seeing that horrible mistake with the buttons, which I translate to my Mac lying to me, was the last straw. I called Mr. Rogue and he is wiping my old PC and rebuilding a new one. I will still use the Mac for a few more days but it wont be like it was before the lying. Soon my new cleaned PC will be ready and I will never touch a Mac again. It will be like heaven.
