Mrs. Sweetie Makes The Move

An evil master plan that I hatched four years ago is now 50% completed and man am I exhausted. Evil villainy is not for the weak or the faint of heart.

I have found certain soul mates throughout my life, people that I cannot live without, people that I would love to be part of my everyday life, and more than just part of my life but be there for birthdays and BBQ’s and for shopping or hugs when I am down. Unfortunately I cannot club them over their heads, wrap them in bubble tape and ship them to the new states that I move to, I think the mailman and possibly my friends would protest. I have collected these friends in various places and they all now live scattered in various states across the US. Sadly I only get to see them a few times a year.

So my evil plot was quite simple I would just need to convince all of the people I put on my list that it was IMPARATIVE that they move out to LA, the land of sunshine and opportunity. If you don’t know about the opportunity in LA just rent Pretty Woman, it is all explained there.

Mrs. Salsa Dancer, aka best friend, aka maid-of-honour was my first conquest. It took me a little less than a year to get her butt out here in Los Angeles and at my side. I mean how could I conquer the city without my sidekick; there is no true Batman story without a Robin. She is still happily living here not more than 15 minutes away from me and I could not be happier.

The other friends are proving VERY difficult and are really resisting my efforts at trying to persuade to move here. One Mrs. Globe Trotter I have finally given up on, there is no way that immovable steel is going to be bent, not unless I get better tactics so we are shelving her for the time being. Mrs. Sweetie and Ms. Pool Shark have both been open to my persuasions but neither of them has made the commitment to actually take the dive and do it. It has been four years, how much persuasion do you NEED for gods sake. Finally Mrs. Sweetie has buckled and decided to move here, I think it was the cookie that I offered on the last call, “Mrs. Sweetie, if you move here I will bake you the best cookie you have EVER tasted!” Who knew a cookie could be so persuasive.

I will continue to work on Mrs. Pool Shark, and I will keep you posted.
