San Diego: Mrs. Cutie Pie Bachelorette Party Begins

This weekend is a blast because the girls and I are all going to San Diego to stay at the Hard Rock Café and celebrate Ms. Cutie Pie’s Bachelorette status. We arrive to annoying tellers who don’t know what the hell they are doing. It took over an hour for us to check in, which to me is a ludicrous amount of time for a hotel that is this nice and that we are paying a ton of money for. I tried to not let it irritate me but sometimes little things like this really piss me off. The room ended up being super nice and we were able to settle in, get changed, and head out to dinner.

HARD ROCK CAFE HOTEL IN DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO

There was a smaller crowd at dinner, the others were not able to get the day off and will meet us later at the club. We went and had sushi (my immediate obsession) and even though it took FOREVER to get a table at least we snagged a place a the bar while we were waiting. I decided pretty early on (you can see in this first photo) to drink water and be the responsible, get everyone together, mommy person. Because I knew we did not have our whole group and because I know that this group can DRINK and because I generally am a lightweight, I knew I could go slow and then just catch up later.

DINNER AT SUSHI

After dinner which included lots of alcohol, super yummy sushi and cute waiters singing to us with a really yummy fried ice cream desert we headed back to our hotel and the Hard Rock Café club. This is when everyone really let loose, and as the rest of the girls slowly arrived one by one. Using my extremely limited MacGyver genius I exited the club and made sure they got to the room, changed and got into the club.

MS. CUTIE AND I AT THE CLUB

Once the last girl was in I joined my friends in drunken dancing bliss and from what I remember we had an amazing time. We ended up dancing all night until the club closed at 2 and by then my feet, swathed in a pair of beautiful shiny silver shoes were killing me and I was starving! Which meant it was time we all crashed in bed and refuelled for the next days events.

THE WHOLE GANG MUCH MUCH LATER ON
