Meet me in the Middle

So I need to book the rehearsal dinner location but I have been stalling. I know where I want to do it, I know what I want to serve for the menu, the only issue that Mr. Rogue and I are having is whether or not we have an open bar and have minimal guests OR we invite everyone and have a cash bar. We are torn because I think a cash bar is a bit tacky, but if we invite everyone that we want then adding alcohol, especially with the way our friends and us roll, will add another $1000 plus to the tab.

I think in the long run we will end up deciding to do a cash bar, even though it is a bit tacky, because we just can’t afford to double our bill and I don’t think we both want to minimize the list of who comes to the dinner. Actually I am sure that is what we are doing, I am just stalling because I wish we could have everything that we want. Concessions we have to make concessions.
